  i called to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick blow dry (I live right across the road at it was in the morning) and the man on the phone was very rude and said he couldn’t fit me in, and when I walked past, there was one client in the salon and the rest of the staff were standing around chatting. absolutely ridiculous.
  
  Funny you prioritise clients; as I said, only one person was in there, and my business would have made you money. Please consider this in future to avoid bad reviews.

  Pamela did my hair and I have to say she is a STAR! The whole salon was very warm and inviting, all the employees treated me so kind and were very attentive. They truly know how to give a great experience whilst also providing top service.

  I started coming here a few months ago for convenience rather than a long drive to my previous salon of over a decade which was wonderful. But I'm glad I did as the SERVICE is magnificent, the little extras (elite teas, chocolates, etc) are beautiful and Pamela is an amazing colourist and stylist. Yeah... I colour my hair :) Fantastic service from front of house to every single person in there. Love it.

  At the beginning of the appointment the hairdresser asked me what style haircut i wanted and how much i wanted off the length, after we agreed on what she was going to do she proceeded to cut my hair in a completely different (and uneven) style as well as cutting it about 3 inches shorter than we had discussed. I’ve talked to someone about fixing the haircut but it would mean cutting another 1 1/2 inches off. On top of the multiple unprofessional things that have happened at my appointments at this salon I’ve had enough and won’t be going back.

  Just like most people nowadays, i also rely on reviews and although i am 2 months delayed with my review, I still want to share my experience. I came across Organika hair after reading so many great reviews so i went for a consultation in Elwood. The people were lovely and i honestly cannot fault their customer service and welcoming nature. After my consultation, i felt very comfortable and booked but they were booked out so i had to wait 3 weeks. My hair was black at the time and i have quite long and thick hair, so i already wasn't expecting the blonde that i wanted to work out from the first session however, I am pretty disappointed with my hair and it only took about a week and a half after i got my hair dyed to feel like that. As i said, this review isn't directed at the customer service or the great staff however, when i pay about $115 for a cut, i really did expect my hair to have the one length that i asked for. I paid almost $600 for the cut, the colour, toner and the products. I can barely see the colour in my hair and the areas that do show the colour actually looks like a faded yellow and orange, so i wonder the purpose behind the products. I now have uneven hair which has really made me upset and the colour looks terrible. My hair has lost it's healthy look and it just honestly looks a lot worse. And the cut was just very disappointing, even when my hair grows back, the front is a lot longer than the back and it's just a funny look. My hair has become very dry and is filled with split ends. I'm truly not happy at all and although this is a delayed review, i just wanted to share my experience.
